Iiit's a bit difficult to call Kaneki a villain, but he has def. done really terrible things under the justification that it was necessary to protect the people he loves AND gain power. So he doesn't regret it one bit. He sees himself as a monster too, so that always helps?

he isn't into the whole "doing this to cause mayhem and distress" or killing for no reason, but he def. hangs around morally ambiguous people in canon and I'd love to get him involved with them. I'm juuust not sure how but
