Guide to the Devil
If your character is meeting Lucifer IN PERSON for the first time:
Lucifer is an archangel, i.e. not just a little bit an angel. He has a spiritual presence beyond his physical one, which beyond-human characters may be able to pick up on. His grace feels like a magical weight, like standing in the middle of a storm cloud, that not only can be felt like a heavy presence in the room, but the more delicate will pick it up from a distance.
Also those with some kind of magical sight may see that he is more than human. His true physical form would burn out the eyes of anyone not powerful enough to look upon him, but it's restrained here, nethertheless someone spiritually supernormal would see that light was filling up Lucifer's vessel, barely restrained by it, and the visual image of wings might also be seen.
He projects a feeling of cold to anyone in his presence.
None of these things are visible over the network.
Permissions:
Your character doesn't have to have EXPLICIT REASON to be excused from any of the following powers. If you just don't want Lucifer doing it, then don't hesitate to put NO to any of the below.
Soul Reading: Lucifer can see into the souls and sins of people he comes upon. This is how he gets around performing his manipulations.
Dream Walking: Lucifer can project himself into people's dreams, and manipulate what they see.
Time distortion: Again via illusions, Lucifer can distort the feeling of time for up to two minutes, in order to snatch a moment alone with them.
Seeking: Lucifer can seek people out who aren't explicitly hidden to him, and fly to them in moments.
SO. Copy paste the below and fill it out.
Soul Reading: YES/NO
What will he find out: (Optional; will research if necessary.)
Dream Walking: YES/NO
What does your character dream about: (Optional; tbh only necessary if we develop CR)
Time Distortion: YES/NO
Seeking: YES/NO

What will he find out: Crane doesn't feel oppressed at all. His soul's only attachment is to fear. The spread of it. The research of it. To be it. To be feared and to feel it. Events? Hell, let's say everything in his app, from the earliest moments of childhood to the present day where he was going to gas 12 million Gothamites but Batman happened. Crane also loves apples because of their symbolism. God, heaven, hell, knowledge, temptation... and the rebellion involved in taking the knowledge he wanted.
Dream Walking: YES. Sort of.
What does your character dream about: I like the thought of Lucifer being able to visit his dreams, but I think if he altered things Crane might notice? He could possibly talk to Crane properly like this - his true self, not the mask he wears. I think this might be the sort of stuff we'd want to discuss the CR objective of [and the dreamscape itself] since it's got lots of potential in so many ways.
Using one thing Crane'd dream about as an example: He'd have a repeating dream where he's a patient at Arkham, being asked if he'd like to teach again. It's been a long time since he's educated a class, and finds himself caught between wanting to return to that life and just. spreading. fear. To make everyone suffer and fear him. Fear's his purpose for living. There's lots of ways Lucifer can slip himself in - perhaps as the psychiatrist he's being made to see? Though Crane knows all the tricks of the trade and if his dreams suddenly changed by Lucifer going 'teach them all a lesson' he'd know about it. Which might lead to them having a proper face to face talk?
Time Distortion: YES. It might segue nicely with that moment Crane lost track of time in his thread with Bruce.
Seeking: YES.
Prayer: NO. Crane's not religious. He's not praying to anyone.
